On Tuesday September 21st at 1:30PM (Session 23), Rick Biddle will be participating in a panel discussion on "Master Planning: What can it do for your institution?" Rick will be highlighting the strategic business planning issues related to implementing a master plan through a discussion entitled "No Margin; No Mission." The Cleveland Zoological Society has raised $700,000 on-line since 2002 and increased their web revenue by 240%. How? Schultz & Williams is pleased to add the Audubon Nature Institute (ANI) and the Tucson Zoological Society (TZS) to its family of zoo and aquarium clients. Audubon Nature Institute Working with the leadership and staff of ANI, Schultz & Williams will be integrating its development and business planning expertise to create a ten-year financial model to guide ANI's future capital and operating investments and then test this business model, level of capital investments and case for support with potential donors through a fund-raising feasibility study. The final work product will serve as a strategic roadmap that helps to insure that future capital investments are balanced against a realistic and achievable business model.
Tucson Zoological Society
TZS came to Schultz & Williams for help in increasing their membership
base. Working with TZS, S&W created a direct mail campaign that was
sent to 100,000 Tucson families. S&W also worked with TZS to create
a mid-level membership category to upgrade new members. Because of this
campaign, Tucson was able to acquire over 1,650 new members at a much
higher average gift and generate almost $10,000 in net income.
