April 2008– The Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership (TRCP) is developing a five-year strategic plan with the help of Schultz & Williams (S&W). Senior Planning Consultant David Walsh will lead this important initiative for our firm and will manage a planning approach that will assess TRCP’s current environment to identify critical issues, reaffirm TRCP’s mission and craft a bold vision for its future, focus and prioritize strategic goals and identify quantifiable action steps. This work will culminate in the creation of a long-term sustainable business model and strategic "roadmap" that will help guide the organization’s future direction. The Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership, based in Washington D.C., is a coalition of leading hunting, fishing and conservation organizations, labor unions and individual grassroots partners working together to preserve the traditions of hunting and fishing. TRCP has a national focus on access and conservation issues affecting hunting and angling and are supported by a nationwide network of over 90,000 sportsmen and women and more than 1,400 affiliated local and state-level clubs and organizations, representing nine million Americans Over the next six months, Schultz & Williams will work hand-in-hand with TRCP staff and leadership, its Board, and community stakeholders to facilitate and manage a strategic planning process that utilizes our expertise in assessing and profiling an organization, conducting planning workshops, and developing strategic plans that include specific business and action tactics. S&W’s final strategic plan will outline the opportunities for the organization and provide the strategies and plans of action needed to make them a reality. Founded in 1987, Schultz & Williams is a national consulting firm headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Today S&W works with nonprofits throughout the United States and continues to exemplify its legacy as one of the first firms in the country to combine the principles of development, management and marketing into our consulting services—an approach that proves successful for nearly every client challenge. |
