July 2012 - Schultz & Williams (S&W) is working with Mowglis Summer Camp for Boys to conduct a strategic fundraising assessment and build a comprehensive development plan to ensure the organization continues its legacy of helping boys build confidence and a strong sense of values that last a lifetime. Mowglis opened in 1903 as the “School of the Open,” and is located in a setting of forests, lakes and mountains in Hebron, New Hampshire. Mowglis’ summer-long program is more than just a “sleep-away” camp. The experience provides a wholesome learning environment through which boys develop confidence, independence, personal strength, and a sense of responsibility toward others and the environment. As a nonprofit organization, Mowglis has a strong desire to contribute to the welfare of our society by keeping Trustees, alumni, staff and families connected and motivated to ensure the Camp will thrive for generations to come. Financially healthy now, Camp Mowgli is taking advantage of this ideal time to assess its fundraising program and develop a plan to gain the support it needs for a sustainable future. Over the next six months, we will put our unique, integrated development, management and marketing approach to work on the Camp’s behalf. Our objective is to take Mowglis’ development program to the next level by assessing its strategic goals and making both strategic and communications recommendations that will clearly establish the organization’s need and appeal for ongoing private support. Schultz and Williams is an industry leader and national consulting firm based in Philadelphia providing fundraising, direct response, strategic and business planning, provisional staffing and marketing/communications services to nonprofit organizations of all types and sizes across the country. In addition to our Philadelphia headquarters, Schultz & Williams has operations in Los Angeles, CA and Washington, D.C. |
