January 2008– Schultz & Williams is working hand in hand with The Corcoran Gallery of Art and College of Art & Design in Washington, DC. Beginning this month, Schultz & Williams will provide an interim development officer to work directly with the president, board members, and senior staff of the College and Museum on major and individual gifts, corporate and foundation relations, and other strategic development priorities.

The Corcoran Gallery of Art is one of the oldest museums in the country with significant collections of American art, European art, contemporary art, photography, media arts and decorative arts. The Corcoran College of Art & Design is Washington’s only college of art and design, which offers undergraduate degrees, graduate degrees and continuing education in a wide array of disciplines.

Schultz & Williams offers senior and middle management interim staffing as a critical component of our development, marketing and management services to non-profit organizations. Our work with the Corcoran involves defining immediate development priorities for the Museum and College and creating a development plan that will complement the institution’s ongoing fundraising activities and institutional strategic plan now being prepared.

"We are pleased to be working with this prestigious and important institution in our nation’s capital, where Schultz & Williams has a satellite office and a growing client base including The Trust for the National Mall, Meals on Wheels Association of America and Green Hedges School,"said Scott Schultz, President. "These clients augment our past work in Washington with The Phillips Collection, The Corporation for Public Broadcasting, WETA, The Potomac School, and The Council for Excellence in Government."

Founded in 1987, Schultz & Williams is a national consulting firm headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Today S&W works with nonprofits throughout the United States and continues to exemplify its legacy as one of the first firms in the country to combine the principles of development, management and marketing into our consulting services—an approach that proves successful for nearly every client challenge.
