October 2008– Schultz & Williams (S&W) puts our interim staff capabilities to work for The Committee of Seventy in Philadelphia.

"Founded in 1904 by Philadelphia civic and business leaders to fight corruption and to reform a political system that was victimizing immigrants and the poor, The Committee of Seventy is a non-partisan organization conducting a permanent campaign to improve the Philadelphia region by demanding ethical conduct of public officials, promoting government efficiency, educating citizens and safeguarding elections." The Committee’s primary focus is on monitoring Election Day activities.

With the need for interim staffing on the rise, S&W offers a valuable service for nonprofits when development, fundraising or marketing positions are vacant or extraordinary circumstances and special events require the need to increase staff on a temporary basis. Regardless of the reason, Schultz & Williams has the capacity to provide professional assistance from staff and associates—all of whom have senior and management level experience from within the nonprofit sector.

S&W will work with the Committee to plan and manage its Day-After-Election Breakfast fundraising event by overseeing sponsorship activities and developing event-related communications. In addition, S&W will provide support and guidance in all development-related areas including corporate and foundation solicitations, year-end appeals to individual donors, organizing prospect lists and proposing targeted donations from prospective benefactors.
