February 2009– Schultz & Williams (S&W) is recognized for helping deserving kids through the Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia (BGCP).

The staff and associates of Schultz & Williams helped make the holidays brighter for more than 20 kids at Boys & Girls Club sites throughout Philadelphia. Last holiday season, in what has become an annual tradition, S&W participated in a Christmas wish list program organized by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia. Children shared ideas for a gift they would like to receive, and staff and associates at S&W shopped for, purchased and wrapped the toys, fulfilling children’s requests. Schultz & Williams was just one of many organizations and companies involved in this effort, which ultimately collected over 1,000 gifts distributed to Boys & Girls Clubs members.

This opportunity demonstrates the commitment of our employees’ and associates’ to the community, and we look forward to participating in this effort for many years to come."

Schultz & Williams has been working closely with BGCP over the last two years offering expert counsel in the areas of fundraising and management planning. Initially, S&W provided interim development staffing and assisted with a search for a new Director of Development. Since 2008, David Walsh, S&W Senior Consultant, has been working closely with the executive staff and Board to develop a new long-term strategic plan to guide the organization’s growth through 2012.

The Boys & Girls Club of Philadelphia is committed to helping young people in the city realize their full potential. BGCP operates 12 clubs in some of the most disadvantaged neighborhoods in Philadelphia and last year served over 15,000 kids.
