September 2007– The long-term partnership between Schultz & Williams (S&W) and the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association (GLAZA) has recently expanded beyond using S&W’s direct mail services to grow the LA Zoo’s membership program. GLAZA is now utilizing S&W’s marketing, creative and production capabilities to revamp the Association’s membership collateral materials. The redesigned materials include a slick four-color brochure with a self-mailer response device, renewal forms, promotional buck slips and membership fulfillment packages.

This outgrowth of services provided by Schultz & Williams is testimony to the successful membership direct mail acquisition results we have garnered for the Los Angeles Zoo over the past 20 years. During this period, Schultz & Williams cultivated more than 56,000 new Zoo members for the Association. And, since 2005, GLAZA has retained the services of Schultz & Williams to significantly improve the Zoo’s membership renewal program. Today, we are fully integrated into the Zoo’s marketing platform and provide our full-service capabilities to promote the Zoo and cultivate, acquire and retain Zoo Association members.

Schultz & Williams also completed an audit of GLAZA’s upper level giving in 2006 and completed a comprehensive report on how to maximize growth and revenue for this critical fundraising program. Utilizing S&W’s integrated services, GLAZA now has the tools to implement a seamless operation from lower-level family membership acquisitions through its upper level giving donors.

Founded in 1987, Schultz & Williams is a national consulting firm headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Today S&W works with nonprofits throughout the United States and continues to exemplify its legacy as one of the first firms in the country to combine the principles of development, management and marketing into our consulting services - an approach that proves successful for nearly every client challenge.
