March 2005 – Schultz & Williams, Inc., a full-service development, marketing and management consulting firm dedicated to serving the needs of nonprofit organizations, announces the addition of Kathleen M. Watson of Bryn Mawr, PA as Senior Associate.

Over the course of her 25-year career, Kathleen Watson led institutional advancement programs in higher education, health care, and arts and culture. Most recently, Watson served as vice president for development at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts where, under her leadership, more than $35 million was raised from private and public sources for capital programs, endowment and operations. Prior to the Kimmel Center, Watson served as vice president for development at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and oversaw the $110 million capital campaign to build a new pediatric research center, increase endowment and support patient care. Watson also held a variety of development roles at Thomas Jefferson University and the University of Pennsylvania and was named Fund Raising Executive of the Year in 1997 by the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the Association of Fund Raising Professionals (AFP).

At Schultz & Williams, Watson will work with nonprofit organizations on strategic and capital campaign planning, major gift fundraising, planned giving, communications and Board development.
