July, 2006 – Schultz & Williams, Inc., a full-service development, marketing and management consulting firm dedicated to the needs of nonprofit organizations, announces the addition of Suzanne Seiter of Philadelphia, PA, as senior associate.

Seiter has 17 years of experience in developing and leading integrated advancement and marketing efforts for new and established institutions including higher education, libraries and museums. Most recently, Seiter held the position of vice president of development for the National Constitution Center (NCC). Seiter completed the NCC’s $185 million campaign to build the Center and accomplished its first efforts to raise $35 million from private sources for capital projects, endowment and operations.

Prior to her position at the NCC, Seiter served as vice president for communications and development at the Free Library of Philadelphia where she integrated fundraising, public relations and marketing efforts to raise more than $5 million annually for library operations. Seiter helped raise $35 million to renovate 50 branch libraries in five years and was a member of the Library’s joint executive committee, which initiated the plans for the $130 million campaign currently underway to renovate and expand the Central Library. Since starting her fundraising career in 1989 at the Penn State Great Valley Campus in Malvern, PA, Seiter has achieved the status of Certified Fund Raising Executive (since 1994), and, in 2004, she was featured on the cover of Fundraising Success Magazine.

At Schultz & Williams, Seiter will work with nonprofit organizations on strategic and capital campaign planning, major gift fundraising and communications. “Suzanne brings an outstanding fundraising background to Schultz & Williams. Her experience and dedicated service to the Philadelphia nonprofit sector will help us successfully address the unique needs and circumstances of the nonprofit community,” said M.
