Becky Zahrly, Senior Membership Consultant and Analyst – With more than 13 years of communications and membership experience, Becky Zahrly provides specialized skills and many years of relevant expertise to S&W’s high-profile, membership-based direct response clients. She is proficient in executing membership acquisition and renewal direct mail campaigns, developing exclusive member programs and events, and managing on-site sales initiatives.

At S&W, Becky is responsible for planning and executing detailed acquisition list strategies, including identifying strong new test files and honing selections to maximize response while minimizing list costs. She provides comprehensive campaign results analysis to inform creative and tactical recommendations for future direct marketing efforts. Her work with S&W clients includes: analysis of regional campaign response to identify where to expand mail volume for Cornell Lab of Ornithology and revision of list strategies for a zoo consortium to target the strongest membership prospects in a tight economy. She has also developed monthly direct marketing result reports and projection comparisons for several S&W clients, including The Planetary Society (Pasadena, CA), American Friends Service Committee and New York Restoration Project.

Becky’s previous roles include Director of Membership and Annual Giving for the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association, Membership Manager at Pacific Science Center in Seattle, Marketing Communications Manager for Central City Association of Los Angeles, Communications Coordinator for the Downtown Marketing Council of Los Angeles and PR Assistant for the Biltmore Hotel, Los Angeles.

Becky is a member of the American Zoo and Aquarium Association and was a standing member of Southern California Membership Managers’ Roundtable from 2000-2007. She has a BA degree in journalism from the University of Southern California.
