Christine Connelly, Senior Consultant – Christine Connelly brings 20 years of diverse experience to Schultz & Williams. As a Development Editor of college textbooks for ten years, she was directly responsible for editing manuscripts in terms of level of difficulty, coverage, organization, writing style and tone. Working primarily in the sciences, her editorial work also encompassed project management, marketing analysis, and development of art programs, pedagogy and ancillary materials. Entering the fundraising field next, Christine worked at Bryn Mawr College as a member of the senior staff in the Resources (Development) Office. She was ultimately responsible for writing and managing the group’s publications, managing their events (as well as some Presidential events), and supporting the work of the College’s Board of Trustees. Her position as Assistant Secretary of the College and Director of Special Projects gave her a unique view into many aspects of Bryn Mawr’s fundraising and governance. Next followed a temporary, part-time Writer position at Pew Charitable Trusts where Christine drafted written communications for the President and supported the work of the Chief Officer, Program Administration. Christine has also served as Program Manager at Princeton University’s Center for Research on Child Wellbeing (CRCW). There she oversaw all CRCW publications, events, personnel, budgets, and grants. This included the transference and transformation of the academic journal, The Future of Children, from The Lucile and David Packard Foundation to Princeton University. Now using her unique set of skills at Schultz & Williams, Christine works with clients to fulfill their research and writing needs such as grant writing or writing/editing case statements, brochures, proposals, reports, etc. Recent clients include the Abramson Center for Jewish Life, UrbanPromise, The Paul Robeson House (West Philadelphia Cultural Alliance) and Central Bucks Family YMCA. |
