Jean Tickell, Senior Consultant – Jean Tickell brings to Schultz & Williams a broad range of expertise in major gifts, annual giving, marketing and donor relations. She is well versed in stewardship, media relations and membership programs.

Prior to joining S&W, Jean oversaw media relations, publications and parent relations for Germantown Friends School. Her focus was on marketing, advertising and website issues, working with development and alumni relations. Before assuming this position at Germantown Friends, she served as Director of Development where she reached $1 million in annual giving and coordinated the redesign of institutional publications. She also reached a new record of parent annual giving while serving as the Director of Annual Giving.

Jean also served as the Director of Development at the Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania where she successfully oversaw a $17.5 million campaign. As Director of Development for the Carson Valley School, she raised the visibility of the historical organization serving at-risk youth. She managed donor relations and coordinated stewardship as the Director of Donor Relations for the University of Pennsylvania, and secured support and raised public awareness as the Development and Public Relations Coordinator for the Library Company of Philadelphia.

Jean has served on the Marketing Committee for the Association of Delaware Valley Independent Schools, on the Steering Committee for the Friends Council on Education Public Relations Peer Network and on the Publicity Committee for the Germantown Poetry Festival. Jean has a B.A. degree from Lehigh University.
