Scott Edward Anderson, Senior Associate – Scott Edward Anderson has over 20 years of experience in management, marketing, fundraising and business development, primarily in nonprofit management, where developed and applied his expertise in major gift fundraising, marketing, writing and planning capital campaigns.

For Schultz & Williams, Scott has worked with clients in strategic and development planning and assessments, and he provided high-level oversight and direction of multiple development and marketing efforts. Clients include Southern Good Faith Fund (Little Rock), the Rodale Institute (PA) and The Heinz Center (Washington, DC).

Scott is the founder of VerdeStrategy, a consulting and advisory firm focused on the cleantech, energy and environment sectors. He served as Vice President for Global Development at Ashoka, a social venture capital organization, and as a director at the Nature Conservancy, where he was part of its Marine and Climate Change strategy teams. Scott is a thought leader in green business space through his popular blog TheGreenSkeptic.com and his frequent appearances on the Fox Business Network.

Scott has served on the advisory board of GoodCompany Ventures, a social enterprise incubator, and GreenMicrofinance, LLC, which develops and markets green energy products. He is a Senior Fellow with the Environmental Leadership Program and was a John C. Sawhill Conservation Leadership Fellow. He has taught at the University of Pennsylvania and is a frequent speaker at conferences and workshops around the country.
