Shirley Trauger, Vice President – Shirley Trauger has 29 years of development and management experience. Prior to joining Schultz & Williams in 1996, she was Executive Director of the Cheltenham Center for the Arts, where she had executive responsibility for all aspects of this community-based art center. From 1985-1993, Shirley was Vice President for Development and Marketing at the International House of Philadelphia and successfully completed the largest capital fundraising drive in the institution's history. As Director of Development and Public Relations at the Annenberg Center, University of Pennsylvania in the 1980s, Shirley was responsible for annual giving and for developing project support for the new International Children's Theatre Festival and Dance Celebration. Since joining Schultz & Williams, Shirley has been heavily involved with the planning and implementation of capital fundraising programs. She has provided temporary staffing during the start-up of campaigns and interim staffing while permanent staff is being hired. The development of comprehensive plans for start-up and ongoing fundraising programs has also been a focus of her consulting work. Shirley’s S&W clients include: Arcadia University, Penn Foundation, MANNA, Penn Home Care and Hospice, HACE (Hispanic Association of Contractors and Enterprise), WNIT Public Television (Elkhart, Indiana), Montgomery County Community College and Newark School of the Arts. Shirley co-chaired the 1985 Franklin Forum for the Delaware Valley Chapter of AFP. She was a member of the Class of 1988 Leadership, Inc. Program and has a bachelor's degree from Bucknell University and an MBA from Pennsylvania State University. |
